Blog Nugget by Buffey Greene
This weekend was the first time I ventured away from my house since the storm. Everywhere I went I saw evidence of the hurricane. Until I got to this spot. As I watched the sunset, I thought to myself, “if you just look straight ahead and not to either side, you can’t see any destruction. No piles of debris, no trees down.” So I focused on the sun and only saw beauty. I couldn’t help but think of Proverbs 4: 25-27. If we keep our eyes fixed on the Son, we will only see the beauty that’s coming out of this situation.

Prayer
Abba, make my gaze steady on you in all situations or circumstances I may find myself in today, as I carefully consider the path for my feet, you have promised to establish my ways. I choose to not turn to the right or the left, this will keep my feet from evil. Thank you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
