Meet Jan Hicks – Founder & CEO

Jan Hicks is the Founder and President of Christian United Ministries, Inc. (CUMI). Her life experiences and powerful healing is a testimony to others around the world.

Jan was molested as a child and teenager, raped as an adult and has been in adulterous situations. As a result of her trauma, Jan began using cocaine (the needle), heroin, LSD, meth, nicotine, and other paraphernalia. Broken and addicted, she turned back to faith by accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. God delivered her from drugs, healed her from her past abuses, and from a crippling disease.

Today, Jan travels the world as a speaker, teacher, author, and Christian counselor. Her life experiences and powerful healing is a testimony to others around the world.

She built CUMI on the foundation of Jesus Christ, encouraging the lost, the saved, backsliders, and believers to accept the love of Jesus, His saving truth, and learn how to live healed in peace and joy.

Statement of Faith

The Bible is the Word of God

We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God, that it is His Holy and inspired Word, and that it is of supreme and final authority.

We Believe in One God

We believe in One God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the son of God, born of a virgin, lived as a man, was crucified, died, and was resurrected.

Christianity is about being Christ like

We believe that Christianity is not about Self but about being Christ-like; therefore, denying self.

We all must understand Jesus’ sacrifice

We believe that all men everywhere need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on the cross.

He is coming soon

We believe not only that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, but that HE is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate and HE is coming soon.

Christians United Ministries, Inc (CUMI), is a Christ-centered ministry providing coaching/counseling services to those who are are seeking tools used to overcome every negative example in life, including various forms of abuse, depression, addiction and wounding.

Our Crossing2Freedom Classes and Conferences provide more understanding to the main open doors the enemy uses against us such as: Bitterness, Resentments, Fear, Occult, Rejection, Accusing Tormenting Spirit, Unbelief and Doubt, Ungodly Soul Ties, Inner Vows, Judgment, Unreasonable Expectations, Negative Emotions and more. Basically we deal with those negative examples in life that begin from conception to how we act and react in life now. These walls built as protection, have been used to keep us separated from the Father and Holy Spirit.

We at CUMI, live by and provide sound Biblical wisdom and principles for those found in Christ, but lost in their soul. Our goal is to provide healing through God’s original intent, stolen by Satan, returned to us by the blood of Christ’s Love for humanity.

CUMI provides an avenue to which the Holy Spirit can bring healing to the broken and victory in Jesus.
